This model created by our prototype department is an example of the color and resolution of the Z-510 printer. The printer can output 24-bit color, 600x400 resolution, and 3.5 thousand layer thickness -- perfect for presenting models.
We offer a vast variety of services from simple sight models to direct castings and functional parts at a low cost and a fast turn-around. We are not just an average prototype shop. We use prototypes made on our Z-Corp Spectrum Z510 to aid in your tooling process. In this way we are able to quickly create complex tooling, fixtures, jigs, and more at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods. Below is a list of just a few of our standard services:
The models are made of a plaster-based product. We have developed processes and techniques that make the parts produced by the Z-Printer strong enough to hammer nails. Below is a link to YouTube showing video of hammering nails into a board. The hammer was made on the Z510 printer, then coated, at our facility. http://youtube.com/watch?v=z2FoLGsUyKY
